What are necessary preparation parts before bridge girder installation?

Launching gantry in the worksite

There are two necessary preparation parts for bridge girder installation according to ZZHZ, please take the following before using a launching gantry to install girders as a reference:

 Part 1: Construction conditions in the worksite

1. Bridge piers;

2. Precast girders

3. Abutment (0# abutment): make a solid and smooth road bed for installation and commissioning of the launching gantry on the abutment. The length of road bed for 0# abutment is equal to or more than that of the launching gantry.

4. A special way for tyres girder carrier from girder fabrication yard to 0# abutment,  for the convenience of girder feeding at rear part of the launching gantry.

 Part 2: Installation equipments in the worksite

Crane with lifting capacity > 20t   1 set

Φ19.5 steel wire rope8m           4 ropes

Sleeper                             some sleepers

Electric welder                      1 set

Oxygen, acetylene                     1 set

Steel hammer (12 pounds, 8 pounds)     1 piece for each

Wrench, pincher                       several pieces

Gradienter                           1 set
