What shall be considered in no-load test for highway overhead launching gantry?

As conducting no-load test for highway overhead launching gantry, some technical parameters shall be fully taken into consideration for the sake of personnel and equipment safety.

(1)    Test parameters, lifting height, lifting speed, trolley moving speed, trolley lateral moving speed, launching gantry lateral moving speed, launching gantry longitudinal moving speed, reliability of all limit switches, deflection at front part of honeycomb girder as crossing spans, deflection at mid-span of rear support leg and middle support leg.

(2)    Preparation before test: paint grease on all steel wire ropes, pulleys, rail for sliding wire device, sliding trolley and internal movable parts in all support legs. Start all pump stations one by one to check whether movements of all mechanisms meet the demand.
