What is brief introduction on Taohuayu Yellow River Bridge in China?

TaohuayuYellow RiverBridgeis an important channel across the Yellow River inHenan,CHINA. According to the actual condition, ZZHZ gives a proposal on segmental assembly launching gantry to install the bridge girders.
With a total length 2116m, the bridge has 7 parts, 42 spans in total, mainly use pre-stressed concrete simply supported beams with span 50m and 51m; span arrangement: 3×(6×50)+4×(50+4×51+50)m, double width of concrete girders to the lateral direction, concrete girder width: 16.05m, main girder type is cross section type of single box girder inclined web plate. Installation method: matched precast girders in short line, assembly in the worksite, first simply supported girder and then continuous girder, max weight of single segment girder shall be not more than 130t.
To meet the demand of bridge structure and construction design, HZP1600 launching gantry is used to install concrete box girder segment with span 51m and below. HZ means Zhengzhou Huazhong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd (ZZHZ), P means suspended girder segment, 1600 means max lifting capacity of the launching gantry.
Taohuayu Bridge is in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, which is the largest one with the main span 406meters among 10 bridges over yellow river. the total length is 7691 meters, as we know that it is a suspension bridge under being construction right now, it is supposed to be open to traffic at the end of 2013.
