4. Safety measures for longitudinally moving girder
Thoroughly check bridge construction machine and rail before longitudinally moving girder. If there is a problem, solves it at once. Observe stress condition of rail and sleepers during process of longitudinally moving girder, promptly deal with it if there is a trouble.

5. Safety measures to install bridge construction machine
a. after being transporting to the worksite, re-check, detect, revise and test quantity and property of each construction member and unit on the basis of drawing. After finishing assembly, designate personnel to overall inspect, commission and test run.
b. after finishing installing, inspecting and commissioning the bridge construction machine, the crossing pier test and lifting test must be conducted on roadbed to ensure total safety when moving from one pier to another pier.
c. in the process of test run and installing girders for the bridge construction machine, specially-assigned person commanding uniformly and clear division of labor are demanded. All operators are asked to coordinate operation and regulate unified signal and contact way according to procedure under uniform command.
d. after the bridge construction machine stops work, put cast brake shoe under each wheel along downhill direction to brake.
6. Safety measures to install girders
a. keep rail top height on both sides of longitudinal moving rail in a level and stable, keep transversely moving rail in a level and have a strict control of gauge b. when front overhead crane and rear overhead crane lift T-type girder to move longitudinally, it is required to use 5t hand-operated guide chain to fix on piers in front support position to strengthen the stability. c. when the bridge construction machine is installing girders, frequent safety check is necessary. Once one girder installation is finished, one thorough safety check begins. Only solve the problem found promptly, the machine can continue to work. The machine is not allowed to work with breakdown problems on mechanism and electrical equipment.
