How to recognize ‘rail gnawing’ of bridge crane?
Rail gnawing caused by insufficient rigidity and askew wheel will lead to abnormal operation of bridge crane, thus lower the production efficiency. Below tips from ZZHZ help you to recognize ‘rail gnawing’:
- during the process the bridge crane starts and stops, there is loud noise and bridge crane is askew and unsteady;
- there has deep and bright groove or deep grinding crack in contact surface between wheel edge of bridge crane and rail track
- what is more worse is when the crane is moving, there is loud noise such as ’hissing’ and ’kengkeng’, then it may cause derailing.
